Hanson To Invest In Grower Support

Hartford, MichiganPlans for a significant investment in Hanson’s Hartford, Michigan warehouse are in the final stages. This ‘behind the scenes’ development can be overshadowed by news and events on Hanson’s ‘final mile’ supply chain services, but make no mistake: Hanson’s commitment to the grower community has always been strong and is about to get stronger.

Like Hart to the north and Logansport to the south, the Hartford facility is geared toward supporting the surrounding agricultural area with cost-effective frozen, deep frozen and cooler warehousing as the first step in a year-long ‘go to market’ strategy. The 6,982,776 cu. ft. facility also supports processors with general merchandise warehousing for inbound packaging materials. Hartford also offers additional capacity for food processing, along with acreage for Greenfield development. Within minutes of I-94, the facility is also served with private CSX rail siding, shuttle car and room for 11 cars.

If you would like additional information now regarding this Hanson initiative, call 269.621.3118 or email here. Details will be published in the new issue of Supply Chain News.
