What is Velocities™ MVC?
Velocities™ is Hanson Logistics Multi-Vendor Consolidation program designed to help you reduce or eliminate higher-cost less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments when shipping smaller orders to your retail or foodservice customers.

How Does Velocities™ Work?
Participating vendors maintain stocking inventory in one of Hanson’s state-of-the-art distribution facilities. We then combine your LTL orders with those of other Velocities™ shippers, creating full truckload shipments for scheduled delivery.

What Are The Benefits?

How Do I Place My Orders?
Phone. Fax. EDI or Web. Velocities™ is supported by a host of order management systems, giving you the efficiency and visibility you need.

Where is Velocities™ Located?
Velocities™ is offered at several Hanson distribution centers, including our new deep frozen Chicago Distribution Center. All Hanson facilities are located east of Chicago congestion for more efficient, timely moves into Chicago as well as out to other key points throughout the greater Midwest.

What Are The Velocities™ Delivery Points?
We deliver consolidated truckloads to retail wholesale and foodservice DC’s to major retailers such as Walmart, in the continental US.

On Hanson Trucks?
We operate our own temperature-controlled Hanson Xpress truck fleet for some Velocities™ deliveries and shuttle service in the greater Chicago area. National truckload moves may be assigned to a Hanson approved carrier.

Can Hanson Help Me with Inbound Moves to the Velocities™ Distribution Center?
Yes. We can provide replenishment truckload transportation from your processing plant if necessary.

Who Can Use Velocities™?
Any food processor or distributor can utilize Velocities™, although Velocities™ is ideal for small and mid-tier CPG companies who ship smaller, more frequent orders. Velocities™ helps you serve your retail and food service companies more profitably, while opening up opportunities with more retailers.

What Is The Velocities™ Schedule?
